Bottle Service – Fry Fabrications | Bottle Service Products, Portable Bars, Custom Metal Fabrication

CAT | Retail Display Cases

We’re currently in a summertime sweet spot here at Fry Fabrications. We’re wrapping up some larger projects and working on nailing down orders for new ones. Finished up a larger table/stool order for UCF, final touches on a 300 piece Ketel One order for bottle service, a 150 order for Chivas, and also wrapping up those 12 Grey Goose carts. We also shipped a 48 table / 17 portable bar order for Monster Energy delivered to Mammoth Mountain Ski area, and in the shop we have a 4 custom bar order for Evan Williams Whiskey, as well as an order for the W Hotel in San Francisco. We also landed an order for Snowshoe POP displays for their manufacturer in both free-standing as well as table-top versions.

As busy as we are, the shop is become so good and quick at cranking out projects that I need to continue to be on the top of my game when it comes to sales in order to keep the shop busy. Customer service certainly is so important for us. Answering questions in a timely fashion and keeping promises of when the product will be delivered is the key for the success of any business and I have seen those customers continue to come back to Fry Fabrications to order product whenever in need as not only is the product quality exceeding their expectations, but the service that we provide to them matches the product. Every item we create we tack on a year warranty against any defects, and also keeping the channels of communication open we provide progress reports of a build as well as all the tracking information once the item(s) are shipped.

Lots on the horizon for us. Stay tuned.

With all the craziness with the shop over the past 5-6 months, we’ve actually hit a slow patch in the past week (sales-wise). The slow-down is contributed to summer vacations, events currently happening in full swing and not much time for customers to shop-around. With that being said, the shop is still busy cranking out an order for Skyy and 12 custom carts for Grey Goose st the Harrah’s resort in Atlantic City. Also, one of our larger clients Monster Energy put a large order in ink of 17 bars and 48 tables in production. So as I type this blog entry the shop is buzzing with energy – the welders are sizzling, the saws are cutting, and the hydraulic presses are crashing down into steel forming bends that can never be made with human hands.

Furthermore, its any day now that we’ll be getting the green light on a large (and quite detailed) project that I’ve been working on since November. After a lengthy process, the design is in place, and financials have been outlined, and paperwork has been completed and one Purchase Order on the fax machine will get this job in motion. Once that comes over I’ll fill you in…

So for now – I’m enjoying this time, this short winow to catch my breath before the motor is once again at full throttle…and this engine will be pushed harder than ever.

Summer is swiftly approaching here at Fry Fabrications. The degrees have been consistently been above the century mark, the days are long, and there are many runs to the hallway to supervise the temperature control unit for the air conditioning. Despite the heat the contrast between this time now and a year ago (given that we were in our old shop at that time) is huge. The swamp-coolers in the shop are keeping the fabricators cool along with the cross-breeze that our new shop has with bay doors in each end of the building. Also, the fabricators can take their breaks and lunches in air conditioned comfort in their lounge area – which on the production end is much more efficent as the guys have more energy to product product rather than getting too hot, worn-out, and slow down as the heat of the day progesses.

Last week we had a local publication “AZ Metalworker” to a featured story on Fry Fabrications along with giving us the cover. We staged our showroom in a manner designed for photographs and the key players (myself – sales, Jim – president, Keith – designer, Dave – Operations Manager) posed for several photos in front of various product. We’re excited to see how both the photos and the article comes out and we will certainly share our findings in this blog.

Speaking of production, we’re chugging along as usual and have acquired some rather large projects once again. Starting with an (8) bar build for various Bacardi product which will be featured on cruise ships, a (12) table/stool order for University of Florida, (300) order for Ketel One bottle service, (150) order for Chivas Scotch for bottle service, (121) order for Don Julio Bottle Service. Also, Redbull have ordered some DJ booths and bars for their on-premise accounts. Can’t forget a 10 table order for Jagermeister, bottle servioce for CIROC and Johnnie Walker, bar for Diet Coke, cube bottle service for Rivers Casino – all this plus several other projects.

On the design end – we’re continuing to put together additional designs for Ipad Kiosks, Tablet Kiosks, Portable Bars, and other cool stuff.

Until next time – stay cool!

Here at Fry Fabrications we’ve been churning out projects as usual especially with the summer months soon approaching and outdoor events will be more and more where our product will be used. The projects that I spoke about in the previous post have either shipped or are close to getting wrapped up. Since the last post we’ve had a new orders come in from Don Julio Tequila, Grey Goose, Absolut for some locking bottle service, and two huge DJ Booths, Ketel One who ordered 26 locking bottle service units, as well as orders for Skyy Vodka and Bacardi. We also did a building signage project for a local nightclub utilizing our new CNC Router. Also new designs of ipad kiosks are in the works.

We also aquired some unique jobs building housing units for portable air condititioners and housing units for portable spot lights. It’s exciting to break away from the beverage industry and explore other areas our fabrication skills are needed.

April is just about to close with what appears to be our busiest month on record. We had the Phoenix Suns Hustle award which resulted in us creating (3) more. Las Vegas orders are picking up with carts for Absolut and Grey Goose along with bottle service items for Planet Hollywood’s Pleasure Pool and Heart Bar. We also had a custom Diet Coke Bar built, some custom bars in the works for three Best Western Hotels, and the Tilted Kilt Restaurants. We also built and shipped a custom ipad kiosk, and we also have an order in for some unique projects like outdoor lockable Plasma TV Boxes and also these stackable cages for large outdoors air conditioning units. We furthermore put the new CNC Router to use for building signage we are creating for a local Nightclub in Tempe, Arizona. The cherry on top is certainly two 360 degree bar orders that came over for Sierra Mist as well as an order for these very unique carts we designed for Svedka Vodka.

On top of all the work, our design department completed our 2011 catalogs which contain numerous new products. Should you like our new catalogs, please email me: derek (at) fryfab (dot) com.

So here we are saying goodbye to April and hello to May.

Both the Nightclub and Bar show as well as the Global Shop 2011 shows were both successes and we have gathered hundreds of leads in which we will be following up on every single one. In addition, we attended the 2011 Indian Gaming trade show and secured additional contacts.

Now that these shows are over, its time to flex some muscle and get our existing orders completed and close the deal on new orders coming in. We also have our graphic designer Jody working on our new bottle service, portable bar / table / promotional items catalogs. Our industrial designer is coming up with some new ipad kiosk and tablet kiosk / ipad podium designs and is also putting together some unique bar designs for Svedka vodka. We also have been securing bottle service and cart deals together for Skyy and Grey Goose. Lastly, we have been putting our CNC router to use to create some building signage for a local hot-spot in Tempe, AZ.

Fry Fabrications is in great shape – ready to go into the Summer of 2011 with full steam. We are excited what the next few weeks will bring and also looking forward to seeing what happens with our market blast which is soon to come. One thing for certain is clear: Fry Fabrications has definately moved on to the next level in business. In the past year, we have moved into a larger facility, acquired tens of thousands of dollars in new equipment, created/hired a new position of a Graphic Designer, formed a new media entity, and created many new relationships with new customers. It’s a good feeling to look back past the trials and tribulations of when I first started with Fry Fabrications – and what in such a short time it has become.

March has been and will continue to be a busy month for us. We have been rather busy with orders that have come in from Ultimat, Remy Martin, Patron, Tequila Avion and that’s just to name a few. We actually have (28) orders currently in process. But just because we’re busy right now, that doesn’t mean that we can’t always be even busier!

The Nightclub & Bar show 2011 was a load of fun, not to mention all the new contacts and people we were able to meet. Talking to people on the phone or on email does not have the same effect as a handshake and looking people in the eyes. Also, being able to showcase our product and allowing people to touch, feel, and hold our product ultimately displays the true quality and craftmanship that goes into each piece. The reactions and positive feedback that we’ve received was very positive and I look forward to what’s in-store at NC&B 2012.

Next up is Global Shop. As this is our first year exhibiting at this show we are unsure what to really expect, however we plan to have on display some retail racks, a bistro table, t-shirt rack, bar-style kiosk, and even an ipad kiosk, or even called an ipad podium or tablet kiosk / podium. The show is in less than two weeks so we still have some work to do, but we’ll be sure to blog how it went when we return.

We have a few different ways we market our customers. Magazine advertisements, exhibiting at conventions, attending/hosting networking events…yet in more recent times it’s become more about blogging, facebooking (segway from myspace), and most recently we had produced a short video showcasing our facility as well as builds and product.

The producers of this video specialize in my interest of featuring video segments of custom cars (a long-time hobby and lifestyle of mine). Seeing their expertise in this field and also seeing what they’ve done for another small business sparked the idea that we needed one of these videos too. 99% of our business is done over the telephone, email, and with others out of state, so why not show our customers first-hand what our facility looks like and how we have created a name for ourselves.

Just a week ago the producers Grinder TV came down to the shop for about 4-5 hours capturing hours of footage. We even used the film crew in the fork lift to achieve the higher elevation shots. Although nearly impossible to gather absolutely all aspects of what we do here at Fry Fabrications in a video less than two minutes long, Grinder TV has done an amazing job splcing the content as well as inserting music that contains a comtemporary, youthful vibe.

Without further adieu, the video:

This year Fry Fabrications will be debuting new products at the Global Shop 2011 Convention March 28-30 in Las Vegas. This convention will be retail related and we will be there showcasing our retail racks, displays, kiosks, informational/tablet podiums and more! Although this will be our first year as an exhibitor at this show, it certainly will not be our last as we are expanding the arms of the company outward into the retail sector. Furthermore we have aquired new equipment that will allow our fabrication to develop in other assorted materials outside of steel to meet the demands of the retail industry. What makes our stuff special especially for this show is that we don’t really know what’s out there in this sector of the industry therefore our designs are all coming from a fresh pallet of ideas and innovations all with the creative & artistic touch that only Fry Fabrications puts into their designs.

Stop in and see us at booth#955. You definately won’t want to miss what we have in store!
